Cross-Cultural Ministry at Its Finest

Every church needs leaders to serve the congregation. Those leaders must be qualified and committed to biblical ministry. Today we see the first example of this type of leadership as Luke tells us about the first group of elected leaders in the church. In Acts chapter six, Luke honestly shows us the realities of the first-century church and some of the problems it encountered. It was a good congregation, unified, generous, and zealous about proclaiming the gospel; but it was not perfect, because like us, it functioned in an imperfect world. Today we discover a way to biblically deal with church issues as well as how to elect qualified leaders for the church.
