Seeker Sensitive

Our deepest apologies, technical difficulties kept this sermon from being recorded.

Whenever the gospel is preached you can always calculate there will be two results. There will always be those who believe and those who do not. The true and the false, you can just count on it. The good soil and the poor soil. Last week, as Philip preached in Samaria he came across some stony ground, he came across some tares one by name of Simon. The text said that Simon believed not in the Word of God, but in the miracles. Simon sought power, but not the power gospel, which is the power of God to free sinner's souls. Today, Phillip meets a true seeker, and Ethiopian who is searching the Scriptures and asking questions. When he hears the gospel, he responds as a true believer and accepts the truth of God's Word and places his trust in the saving power of Jesus Christ.
