Nicodemus

John 3:1-21

As we enter the Christmas season, we begin to see homes and businesses around our beautiful island light up with the twinkle of 1000’s of tiny lights. Of all the Christmas traditions, I love the lighting of trees and buildings the most. The lights remind me of Christ and His words in John 8:12 “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” Christmas is a time to step out of the darkness of the world and follow the true light, Jesus Christ. Our Christmas preaching series is titled “EMANUEL - God with us.” In it, we will be looking at some of those in the Gospel that made this journey from dark to light. Today in the word we look at Nicodemus the curious Pharisee.
