As we introduced The Book of Revelation last week we made a few simple observations. The first was that Revelation is unlike the other books of the New testament in the sense that it is a book of prophesy. It is a book about things to come. The first four words tell us it is about Jesus Christ, it is the Revelation or the revealing of Jesus Christ. That which was once hidden about Christ has now been revealed. The Gospels revealed Christ in His humility and revelation reveals Him in His strength and glory. In the gospels He was the lamb and in revelation He is the lion. today we will continue to shed light on these same truths and find great hope in the fact that Jesus Christ loves His church.
