Beyond the Cross

“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him." Mark 16:6

For believers in Jesus, every day is Christmas. The tree is the cross and it was empty, but Jesus, God’s only son put himself on that tree for us. He became sin so that we could become righteous. He separated Himself from God so that we could have unity with Him, He went down, so that we could go up. Our lives were as barren as that tree, but He decorated our lives with the gift of salvation.

Before the Cross, we were dead in our sins. At the Cross, Christ paid the penalty for our sins. Beyond the Cross we are forgiven, we have a future, a hope and an eternal destiny.
