Loving God...Reaching People

Children

We offer a number of options for child care and for elementary school age children to learn more about God's Word and Ways:
  • For infants four years old or younger, we offer child-care beginning at 9:45 a.m. and ending shortly after Sunday service.  The nursery is located in the building just to the north of the building where Sunday service is held.  Please sign in your child at the door.
  • Children between five years old and the second grade are invited to begin Sunday service with the adults in the CLC sanctuary and then move to Sunday School class to hear from God's Word at a level suitable to early elementary school and also to spend "hands-on" tie learning with Scripture and crafts.
  • Children between third and fifth grades are also invited to begin Sunday service with the adults in the CLC sanctuary and then move to Sunday School class to experience God's Word in a fun and interactive way, thereby becoming better able to apply God's Word to their own lives.

Sunday School classes for both K-2 and 3-5 elementary school age children are held in the Ministry Center.    Children over the age of four are dismissed after worship during Sunday service and will be escorted to their appropriate classes by CLC teachers.   For information about middle school and high school ministries and programs, please click here.

Where is it?  CLC has two main buildings.  As you enter into the Freeland Professional Center, the Worship Center is in the building on the left and the Ministry Center the building on the right (adjacent to and just north of the Worship Center).  From left to right in the Ministry Center are the Living Room, the Church Offices (along with the entrance to the nursery and to Sunday school), and the Dining Room.
